Friendly Home Daycare

Licensed family child care services for babies to school-age children in Catonsville.

For over twenty years, children have napped A soft brown teddy bear on a pale blue blanket, sung A rainbow toy xylophone with a wooden beater, built Old wooden alphabet blocks with red letters and drawn A heap of wax crayons in every color their way through the day in our home.

Our day

Structured yet comfortable, with the same shape every weekday. Times move a little with the season, the weather and the children. Open any part of the day to see it.

8:00 to 9:30, happening now

Breakfast at 8:00. Then cards, word games and alphabet learning, pitched to each child’s age.

Music, songs and dancing, then stretching. An hour of noise, on purpose.

Lunch at noon, then everyone settles down for story time at 12:30.

No. We don’t have pets, and we never have.
